Kurt Floren Redux

IN an effort to capture as much traffic as possible to this obscure corner of the blogosphere, I am now creating new posts based on previous ones that have gotten a lot of traction. This one is a further exploration of my deep and abiding affection for a man I have never met, Mr. Kurt Floren, the brilliant and handsome Los Angeles County Agriculture Commissioner and Director of Weights and Measures.
