Turner went for a walk. When he got home he took a nap. After an hour he got up and made himself something to eat, a peanut butter sandwich. He regretted everything he'd said. He considered the money he'd wasted on those treatments, thousands of dollars. Nothing worked. Turner stared out the window. He listened to the neighbor's dog barking for two minutes, quiet for a few seconds and then barking again, all day like that. He wished there were some way to shut that damn dog up.
