A Nice Gesture

This is unconfirmed, but a friend taught us the American Sign Language sign for Williamsburg, Brooklyn, a neighborhood of Orthodox Jews and young hipsters. To say this place's name in sign language you make a curly gesture from your temple down the side of your face, suggesting peyos, the long locks orthodox boys and men wear. If anyone can verify this, it would be much appreciated.
