To appreciate this audio entry you have to remember that in 1981 when Matthew Meanswell was a freshly minted college grad new to New York City we didn't have fancy computers or smart phones. We still listened to music on vinyl LPs and cassette tapes and not in a cool, retro way, but because that's what there was, skips and scratches and all. In a prewar sublet on 101 and WEA, J and I took two cheap tape recorders and goofed around with overdubs. We were being arty and pretentious. Those tapes are gone, but this is a tribute to our youth.
