If it's not good to be a simp and it's not good to be pathetic, why is it good to be sympathetic?Grrr, summer has just barely begun, not even the at the dog days yet, and already everything irritates. The old boulot-boulot and all its attendent personnel grief, an aging, arthritic cat, a general sense of anxiety that never seems to go away.
Mercifully, next week is a break. Not that it doesn't come with some agita of its own, because it does. There will be a lot of family, which in theory should be fun, fantastic. But six days together is intense and there will have to be some Matthew time for just pouring a handful of the shore of Lake Michigan from one to the other and back.
